Prospective adopters submit an application with a lot of questions concerning their dog ownership experience, lifestyle and knowledge of the keeping requirements for the breed. A home visit is a must for all adopters. Besides, to get a dog you have to pay a small donation ($100 to $200 depending on the region and the age and quality of the dog,) which helps to cover the expenses on boarding, transportation, feeding and socializing the dog.
